tinyCam Monitor is a viewer for IP security cameras you already own. It connects directly to cameras on your own network using standard protocols — RTSP, ONVIF and MJPEG — so video, snapshots and recordings stay on your device. There is no tinyCam account and no tinyCam cloud.
No camera to hand? Turn on Settings → Demo cameras to explore every feature with simulated feeds.
Any camera that exposes RTSP, ONVIF or MJPEG on your local network. That covers most models from Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, Amcrest, Axis, Foscam, TP-Link Tapo, Hanwha, Vivotek, D-Link, Ubiquiti, Wansview, VStarcam, Yi, Swann and many others, plus NVRs that re-publish their channels.
Cameras that offer no local stream at all and only talk to their maker's cloud over a proprietary protocol. Battery- and LTE-powered models often fall into this group, because they stay asleep to save power and cannot serve a continuous stream. If your camera has no RTSP or ONVIF option in its own app's settings, it will not work with any third-party viewer.
Automatic discovery uses network multicast, which some routers and most guest or VPN networks block. Adding the camera by IP address always works. Check that RTSP or ONVIF is enabled in the camera's own settings, and that you are on the main Wi-Fi network rather than a guest network.
Switch that camera to the Fluent stream, or reduce the grid to fewer columns. Each extra tile is another live decode. Wi-Fi signal at the camera end is the most common cause.
Audio must be enabled on the camera, and the stream must carry it. Tap Listen in the full-screen view. Two-way Talk needs a camera with an ONVIF audio backchannel and must be switched on for that camera in its settings.
On your device. Open a camera full-screen and tap Clips. From there you can play, share or delete a recording. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Open Settings → tinyCam Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings, not in the app.
Delete the app. Cameras, credentials, snapshots and recordings are stored only on the device, so removing the app removes all of it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
tinyCam Monitor is a viewer, not a monitoring service. It is not a life-safety or alarm-monitoring system and must not be relied on as one.
